We recently announced the HashiCorp Terraform Enterprise integration for ServiceNow Service Catalog. Terraform Enterprise offers organizations an infrastructure as code approach to multi-cloud provisioning, compliance, and management. Organizations who adopt Terraform Enterprise want to provide self-service infrastructure to end-users within their organization. The integration with ServiceNow extends this capability so that any end-user can request infrastructure from the ServiceNow Service Catalog and Terraform Enterprise can provide an automated way to service those requests.
Terraform has typically been adopted by technical developers, engineers and operators who write infrastructure as code in their workflows. While there is a level of abstraction with modules and the configuration designer to enable sharing and simple code reuse, we recognize there is a set of users who provision resources without needing to know how they are provisioned.
Our integration with ServiceNow, the standard for automating workflows across developer, operator and IT teams, provides a net new seamless workflow for provisioning. To learn more, sign up for this webinar where Lauren Rother (Product Manager for Terraform) will demonstrate how the integration works and how it will reduce the time spent on workflows in multi-cloud management:
