About the role

The Renewals Leader will lead a team of Renewals Sales Representatives/Renewals Account Managers responsible for managing existing customer relationships and delivering customer satisfaction. This role oversees the account management and renewals process for the complete HashiCorp portfolio of software products within SMB, Commercial, Enterprise, and Strategic accounts.

 

In this role you can expect to

  • Lead a team of Renewals Reps that have fun winning together
  • Lead team growth and team member career development including recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching Renewals Reps
  • Conduct forecast meetings with your team and deliver a regular revenue forecast to Sales, CS, and Finance leadership
  • Coach Renewals Team on strategies that help them reach individual goals and help our customers manage their Cloud Infrastructure with HashiCorp tools
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and other teams to drive success and prioritize where HashiCorp invests its resources
  • Achieve key performance metrics and annual goals
  • Collaborate with your team and other teams to plan and implement process improvements
  • Develop playbooks for renewal engagement and strategies to maximize revenue retention and revenue growth
  • Report monthly to CS and Sales leadership on team activity, impact and renewal trends

You may be a good fit for our team if you have

  • Experience in Open Source Software and DevOps business models is preferred but not required, proficient in concepts around Cloud and infrastructure is a minimum
  • 8+ years of Sales / Customer Success / Account Management experience preferably within an Enterprise Software organization
  • 5+ years of management experience preferably within an Enterprise Software organization
  • Consistent track record of achieving personal and team goals
  • Excellent coaching, writing, discovery, and presentation skills
  • History of success in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Ability to grow business in a strategic manner including new process and initiatives
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor
  • History of accurate forecasting and business reporting
