In this role you can expect to:
- Ideally 2+ years of work experience in Sales Compensation
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce and technically savvy for other data systems
- Strong process development and writing experience
- Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience with the administration of high performance sales team compensation plans
- Experience with administration of Xactly Incent
- Must be highly motivated
- Quick thinker and learner
- Organized, detail oriented and methodical
- Ability to grow and think outside the box
- Willingness to jump in and assist in other projects
You may be a good fit for our team if you have
- Administer sales compensation plans with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely performance calculations and sales compensation payouts
- Serve as a first responder to the Sales team: research and resolve commission-related inquiries from the Sales team (e.g. system access issues, transaction disputes, credits and payment calculations)
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to process new hires, terminations and transfers; set up new hires in line with plan policies and procedures
- Evaluate commission plans and processes and initiate changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of administration
- Support ongoing maintenance of Xactly Incent, set up compensation plans and credit mapping rules for all sales associates in incentive tool
- Assist with monthly and quarterly analyses to measure compensation plan performance including variance to budget, correlation between result and payouts by individual contributor and manager
- Track compensation plan results and analyze sales compensation plan effectiveness in achieving business goals/strategy
- Develop and update compensation plan letters and produce plan documentation; build process to streamline this responsibility
Deliverables
- Review existing Xactly Incent Compensation structures and provide best practices around administration
- Work with Sales Ops, Sales Management, & Legal to ensure Master Plan & Schedules for all sales roles are updated in line with approved structures
- Identify and build system changes required to support new compensation structure
- Support the translation of compensation structures into various comp schedules by role
- Test and validate new compensation structures
- Prepare Xactly Dashboards and Statement Reports views for launching to individuals
- Prepare the individual sales compensation schedules
- Submit compensation plans to individuals and follow up on signatures
- Document and file process, plans, and executed comp plans
