Meet the Team

As part of the Hashicorp Design org, the Web Presence Design team is a group of super talented UX designers working in close partnership with HashiCorp Marketing and Web Engineering. Led by our Group Creative Director, the team is paired with Brand & Communications Design—both working in concert to support each other in pushing the design envelope.

We help express the value of our brand through visual communication, kinetics, and interaction to engage, educate, and establish trust with both practitioners who love our products and enterprises looking to improve their businesses at scale with HashiCorp. 

Our team strives to do this with the user at heart and our ‘beauty works better’ principle in hand. We believe the design process can and should feel satisfying for stakeholders, continually improve with insights, and regularly deliver positive outcomes for our business.

What You’ll Do

If you’re currently an Art Director, Digital Design Manager, or Web-Native Design Manager—this is the role for you. 

You will manage priorities, processes, and interface effectively with the rest of HashiCorp in service of helping the team do their best work. You’re directly involved in information architecture discussions and doggedly advocate for solutions tailored to our audience.

You’ll lead a team of talented web UX designers in collaboration with web developers to deliver a cohesive web narrative that supports all of HashiCorp’s products. By creating a safe space for considered and constructive feedback to designers and stakeholders, we will maintain a consistent bar of high-quality design across all deliverables.

Your Roadmap to Success

Your First 30-Days

  • Create trust with the team and the individuals on the team.
  • Build relationships with our partners (esp. Digital, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Platform UX).
  • Start to understand the problems the team and our partners face.

Your First 90-Days

  • Develop a framework for projects to be more test, data, and iteration driven.
  • Shape our workflows and practices to improve collaboration, project velocity, quality of design, quality of content.
  • Nurture the team and partners to be more audience-centered and user journey-based. 

By 180-Days

  • Show improvements in performance across our largest projects
  • Communicate with leadership the work of Web Presence and its impact on the business.
  • Excite and motivate the team around shared vision
  • Inspire the teams to deliver their best work

Medical, dental & vision

Our 401(k) plan provides a variety of investment options to help you fund your retirement. The plan allows you to contribute a designated amount of your pre-taxed income from each paycheck thereby lowering your taxable annual income. To bond with their newborn, we provide birthing parents up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave via short-term disability and HashiCorp’s parental leave policy. For non-birthing parents (including adoptive) we offer 8 weeks of paid parental leave.
