People Operations Coordinator - Contractor

HashiCorp is looking for an enthusiastic People Operations Coordinator who will be the operational hub for the People Team. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this role will be a key member of the People Team and thrive in a fast paced environment experiencing significant and exciting change. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of administration and record keeping and in cultivating and expanding our new hire onboarding experience. In this role you can expect to:

  • Generate offer letters/employment contracts and related documents
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all new hires by coordinating monthly onboarding sessions.
  • Process I 9s for all new hires (remote and onsite) and complete E-Verify case by deadline.
  • Enter new hire information into HRIS platform.
  • Manage new hire gift inventory and send out to employees
  • Coordinate and manage our new hire first day preparation process.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

You may be a good fit for our team if you have:

  • Ability to multi-task, with the ability to balance urgency and thoroughness.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Fantastic written and oral communication skills.
  • Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced, frequently changing and high performance environment.
  • A positive attitude, collaborative spirit.
  • Has 1 – 2 years of HR and/or coordination experience
  • 4 year college degree preferred
