Provision Infrastructure Using Cloud Development Kit for Terraform with Python & TypeScript

Developers are accustomed to using their own tooling and writing in familiar languages. For several years, HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL) has been one of the fastest growing languages at GitHub, and yet we have often heard the desire to provision infrastructure with familiar programming languages. In this live webinar, we will explore the Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for HashiCorp Terraform, which allows users to define infrastructure using TypeScript and Python. See details below.

Details

With optionality for programming languages, and leveraging the hundreds of providers and thousands of module definitions provided by Terraform and the Terraform ecosystem, developers can accelerate execution. This webinar will take a deep dive into AWS CDK constructs and how they can be used to write Terraform resources. We will learn how to write an infrastructure application in TypeScript and Python using CDK for Terraform. We will also generate the Terraform JSON configuration for that application and deploy it using CDK for Terraform CLI. The session will close with a live Q&A discussion led by our panelists.
