Moving to a Microservice World: Leveraging Consul on Azure

See a demo of HashiCorp Consul Service (HCS) on Azure and learn how it could be used to migrate from monolithic, VM-based apps to microservices running on Kubernetes.

Speakers

This talk from VirtualDays APAC explains the challenges of distributed systems and will walk through two topics. First HashiCorp product manager Alex Jauch will demo HashiCorp Consul Service (HCS) on Azure—a cloud-managed Consul service currently in beta. In the second half, HashiCorp developer advocate Erik Veld will show how Consul service mesh can be used as an on-ramp to migrate from monolithic, VM-based apps to microservices running on Kubernetes.
