We are pleased to announce the first HashiCorp Nomad Virtual Day in 2021! This 2.5-hour livestream will feature technical talks and demos presented by members of the Nomad engineering team, customer use cases from the community, and a live Q&A.
During this event, the community at large will get the opportunity to interact with the HashiCorp Nomad team directly and get any questions answered on functionality, use cases and roadmap. We look forward to opening this new avenue to engage with our community. Check out the recording of our previous Nomad Virtual Day here.
During this session Glen Yu will share his Nomad story at AmpleOrganics. You will learn how Nomads helped relieve Canada’s #1 cannabis compliance software company from Kubernetes Complexity.
Many organizations choose Nomad as a simpler alternative to Kubernetes. Nomad’s simplicity enables fast deployment in production and rapid onboarding for developers. In this session, we will walk you through how to get started from installing Nomad, deploying your first job, to scaling up your application.
With the newest version of HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL2) and Levant, a popular templating and deployment tool for Nomad jobs, Nomad can now turn your job files from static to dynamic, reduce the amount of boilerplate that you have to manage, and simplify the process of submitting them to Nomad. Join this session to see the capabilities of these powerful tools and learn how to leverage them.
Nomad published the latest scalability benchmark in parallel with Nomad 1.0 release. In 22 minutes, Nomad deployed 2 million docker containers across 10 AWS regions, achieving 1500 containers per second. The team continues to work on more strenuous tests around failure scenarios to observe the resilience of Nomad. Join this session to learn the test setup, technical details, and performance analysis.
Meet our Nomad experts virtually and ask us anything. A group of engineers, solution architects, and real users will be available to help answer all your Nomad questions.
