Getting Started with Consul
Cisco and HashiCorp have partnered to deliver a new Consul integration for Cisco ACI delivered by an App hosted on Cisco DC App Center. This app, “Consul Extension for ACI,” will provide you with service level visibility on the APIC, through intuitive and proper context from Consul, enabling you to take informed decisions confidently to minimize the risk of network faults, changes, or capacity problems. With the first Cisco ACI module for Consul Terraform Sync, sysadmins and developers can dynamically configure the network as a distributed stateless load-balancer for applications, using Consul only. Acting as the source of truth, Consul automates ACI Policy Based Redirection (PBR) through NIA. As new services or instances are added to the Consul catalog, ACI dynamically manages the lifecycle of the required backend network resources and policies
