Brand Logos
HashiCorp uses a hexagon for our logomark. Hexagons are seen as the foundational building blocks of infrastructure, clouds, and nature.
Our logomark is comprised of two elements:
The isometric ‘H’ logomark
The bespoke logotype using the HashiCorp Sans typeface.
Below are the fundamentals for consistent branding.
- Full LogoThe primary HashiCorp logo is the horizontal logo. This logo should be used on all comms where people are not familiar with the brand.
- Stacked LogoThe vertical HashiCorp logo may be used when space requires.
- LogomarkThe logomark should only be used by itself when the audience is familiar with the brand or when the full logo is used in proximity.
Clear space considerations
Our logo must be surrounded by a safety area of clear space to ensure text, images, or graphics don’t crowd it.
For our full logo, the clear space should be the height of the HashiCorp logomark.
For alternate logos, the clear space must be 2/3 the height of the logo.
Unacceptable logo use
To ensure consistency of the HashiCorp brand, follow the previously mentioned fundamentals.
See below examples of improper logo use.
Do not use old versions of the logo
Do not outline the logo
Do not use alternative colors
Do not stretch the logo proportions
Do not substitute the logo font
Do not use the logo on top of a busy background
Do not alter the size of the logomark H
Do not tint the logo
Do not adjust the angle of the logo
Do not crop the logo
Do not round the corners
Do not place the logo over color darker than a 70% tint
Partnership logo lockups
Partner logo lockups denote high-level partnerships. For example, below is a lockup used to represent the cloud partnerships between HashiCorp and AWS as well as a logo consisting of a 3 company partnership.
