Jacob Plicque (he/him) is a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager at HashiCorp, where he focuses on Terraform and Infrastructure Lifecycle Management. With over 12 years in the tech industry, Jacob brings a rare blend of technical depth and narrative clarity forged across roles in Cloud, SRE, Solutions Architecture, Chaos Engineering, and Observability, most recently as a Developer Advocate. His passion for systems and storytelling helps him translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, compelling narratives for docs, demos, and the dev communities he serves. He's built onboarding programs, led GTM campaigns, and helped engineers, from enterprise teams to open source practitioners get more done with less friction.In his free time, Jacob is an epic fantasy author, an avid enthusiast of video games and collaborative storytelling through tabletop RPGs (including a very large dice collection), and a proud dog dad to Cooper.
