Terraform-Powered Platform-as-a-Service

In this talk, HUG community member Juan Sebastian Ruiz Villa explains how his team is using Terraform to implement a PaaS model, automating the deployment of their infrastructure per customer.

The session goes into detail on their experiences, including the challenge of automating Terraform itself in an environment where there are standards that lean heavily on manual Terraform-ation, lessons learned, and how can you implement this model in other stages of the software development lifecycle in order to increase DevOps adoption across an organization.

This talk was part of the first HashiTalks online event—A 24-hour continuous series of presentations from the worldwide HashiCorp User Group (HUG) community and from HashiCorp engineers as well. The event took place from February 21-22, 2019.
