Overview

This is an accessibility statement from HashiCorp, Inc. (“HashiCorp”, “us”, or “we”). 

HashiCorp is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience, and striving to apply the relevant accessibility standards and regulations as appropriate.

Measures to support accessibility

HashiCorp takes the following measures to support accessibility of HashiCorp websites and applications:

  • Include accessibility in our design and development process.

  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.

  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement process for third-party libraries that are used in our websites and applications.

  • Appoint contact(s) for accessibility questions or concerns.

  • Provide training for HashiCorp employees.

  • Employ accessibility quality assurance methods

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. HashiCorp intends for its websites and applications to be fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, US Section 508, and European EN 301 549 (as applicable to our products.). At present, HashiCorp  is currently evaluating our websites applications for compliance with these standards and regulations. This statement will be updated when the initial evaluations are complete.

We make Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) for all of our products available as they are completed. Until all VPATS are available online, you can request the availability of a product’s VPAT by emailing accessibility@hashicorp.com.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

All HashiCorp websites and applications are designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Safari with VoiceOver on macOS

  • Chrome with VoiceOver on macOS

  • Edge with JAWS on Windows 11

  • Chrome with JAWS on Windows 11

HashiCorp websites and applications cannot guarantee compatibility with:

  • Browsers older than 3 major versions

  • Mobile operating systems

Technical specifications

To comply with specific accessibility standards, all HashiCorp websites and applications rely on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

Assessment approach

HashiCorp assess the accessibility of all HashiCorp websites and applications using the following approaches:

  • Testing with automated tools

  • Testing with screen reader(s)

  • Testing with manual inspection

Formal complaints can be made via email to accessibility@hashicorp.com. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 30 days or less. You are entitled to escalate a complaint to the relevant national authority, should you be dissatisfied with our response to you.
