Virtual Kubelet opens up the possibilities for what a node within a Kubernetes cluster can be backed by. It opens up new ways to use Kubernetes clusters for:

- Abstraction of infrastructure
- Translating any APIs into Kubernetes APIs
- And almost limitless other possibilities
In this talk, HashiCorp's Anubhav Mishra and Microsoft's Ria Bhatia will highlight Azure's provider for Azure Container Instances (ACI) and demo the HashiCorp Nomad running on Virtual Kubelet. They hope to inspire new ideas and conversation by demonstrating this new way to connect Kubernetes to "any" service or technology.
